Do you generally misquote people or is this an isolated instance? Carl never met Leung Sheung so how did he manage to touch his hands? Perhaps next time you will get your facts straight or even better yet, brush up on your interpretation skills. For it would be an example of base behavior indeed if it was your intention all along to use this forum to slander others.
I was at a seminar with Carl this last january in minneapolis, the guys power is amazing and his ideas I really liked. I like the fact he really concentrates on rooting, and sensitivity. He had a lot of good things to say that really make a lot of sense when applied. Right now my school here is learning under Carl, the pace is slow but everyday I can feel the difference.
not too mention I saw his chi sau and sparring skills at work with an old instructor of mine. This guy concentrates alot on technic and physical prowess, Carl had him back pedalling the whole time!

Carl really is amazing!
But did he really say that he touched hands with Leung Sheung ?
What Carl do say is that he has Ken’s energy inside himself and
since Ken in the same way have Leung Sheung’s energy that might
have led to the misunderstanding that Carl touched hands with
Leung Sheung.
But in a way we can still say that Carl even has Yip Man’s energy
since Leung Sheung touched hands with him(Yip Man) so much and
since Ken touched Leung Sheungs hands so much and Carl have
touched Ken’s hands alot.
If you do not understand what this is all about then its your problem.
No I am not joking. But since you do not want to
understand what we are talking about here its
kind of hard to have a civil meaningful conversation.
It is a question about what you mean with energy.
When Carl say this think more in terms of what information
one can get from a touch both concious and subconcious.
Working with someone at a higher level than yourself will
lead to an information exchange and you will pick up things
that will change your level of skill.
It is a really special feeling. Having someone feed you the
right information and afterwards you do not know exactly
why but your skill is much higher.

Do you desire dialogue or are you just in the mood to throw insults? You are completely missing the point. When I move my arm I am creating energy from physical motion–this is the concept…not some mystical chi thought process.
Yip Man moved a certain way–physically, and employed a softer type of physical energy, this in turn was instilled in Leung Sheung. Leung Sheung then taught Kenneth Chung who became his best student. Kenneth Chung has in turn taught Carl to use a similiar type of physical energy (aka “Soft Force of Wing Chung”).
Do you now understand? I can break it down more for you if you are still having trouble wrapping your brain around this simple concept.
I am a student of Carl’s and would be happy to discuss whatever it is you seem unclear on, but if you wish to throw juvenile insults you can look elsewhere. I don’t have the time for that kind of thing.
Last night I suddenly woke up and I felt the need to touch my Bruce Lee poster above my bed. Then I fel asleep again. But this very morning my nose itched.

hey guys,
i traveled extremly far to meet sifu carl…and it was worth the drive…his class is taught like leung sheung or wong shun leung use to …very laid back…everbody works out with everybody…i ask alot of questions and it didnt bother anyone there…everyone tried answering me to the best of there knowledge…i was invited back for a seminar on the following week end and would have made the trip if i hadnt had a flat tire when i woke up…my tire had a slow leak in the nozzel which i just kept airing it everyday…well, it finnaly gave…the following week my grandmother died and i ended up moving the next week…but im still planing on making an almost 3 hour trek for his quality teaching…his chi sao is on a whole different level…and the quality of his students is extremly high…he teaches at a slow pace so the basics are mastered,like yip man said"you have to give your brain time to learn,if you dont ,your wc will have no substance"
