I’ve heard from more than one source (both on the internet, though) that Ashida Kim’s whole routine actually is a joke, and that he knows exactly how ridiculous he really is. I’m starting to believe it - he says the only other ninja he respects is Frank Dux, and I think he once claimed to be Tank Abbot’s fight trainer.
I don’t think his Nin-Jutsu Books are as bad as his Books about Sex.

To answer your first question, yes web site is meant to be taken seriously. Any website when looked at through judgemental eyes can be made to look like a joke.
As for his methods, do you mean his techiniques? his Hai Lung System is much like my own kokuryu, based on evasion and efficianant movement in the martial side of things. Can he get this to work for him, yes.
Perhaps you should buy a video tape of him to see him in Action?
Or am sure we could set a day aside for people to come meet with us when I am in the US in June, he wont be what you expect.

the kokuryu system is a bit differant to the Hai Lung Ryu (Ashida) although there are many similarities.
Would be good to meet up and train, not sure when I will be in Sydney next however, but yes, be fun to meet up for lunch and some training.
I should be down there in a month or two, lets set something up.
