I was wondering if there should be a seperate forum catered to this kind of activity. It gives trolls a place to spout off and it gives REAL MA pple a chance to get out and fight on another!!! I am all for traveling and having friendly matches. And I am all for going and putting to smack down on keyboard karateka!!! But what do you guys think.
Take an Amtral train to Penn Station New York. I’ll pick you up, bring you to CHinatown. You can fight me if you want. You can stay at my place for a few days if you like, I can introduce you to Hung Gar guys if you like, to warm up. Some wing chun too.
Then I’ll take you down to CHinatown and you can fight some Hsing-I/Ba Gua. After that you probbaly won’t want to fight no more. Not saying that to be wise, but I often see a lot of people eager to fight when all the see are pajama parties, come play with the real deal. Fighting will never be looked at the same again. It’s a great experience.
Take the train ride. The ticket is only $90 probbaly. I’ll tell you what, you come and beat me or one of my Hsing-I brothers, and it will be my treat. Not the WC or HUng Gar, you have to beat one of us.

it wouldn’t work because trolls specifically want to muck up the water. if there was a place specifically for them, then it wouldn’t yield the desired result (i.e., the rest of us getting ****ed off).
a challenge forum is a different matter, but it doesn’t happen often enough to be worth it, really.

Bak Mei’s offer sound more than worth the trip. I have a <ahem> ‘offer’ I call it the “$100 Challenge” (it started at $50, but I’ll tell the story later:D ) It pretty much goes like this, I usually use this as the last resort for a troll to but up or shut up, All you have to do is BEAT ME and I will give you $100, if I when you just have to by the beer (the secret is they I drink they lose out more;) ) Its that simple I do the traveling I bring the equipment to tape it I bring a witness and the opponent has nothing to lose, except for pride. Think about it ALL you have to do is BEAT ME and you get $100.
Now the Paul Harvey part, THE REST OF THE STORY:
This challenge actually came about in a parking lot with a guy who had been harassing some pple. I told him he is just spreading his feathers but doesn’t want to get dirty. He ran off with some mumbo jumbo that if would wax my butt but he was on probabtion and other excuses. I told him tht sounded like the cry of an urban BtchAzPnk! I then just got tired and said, “Look I got $50 in my pocket. All you have to do is come over here beat my butt and its yours! Plain and simple!” He huffed and puffed, I was dissing him in front of his boys and the girls he was trying to look bad for. I showed him the money an offered again. While he was coming up with an excuse I was making clucking away! Man it was a hilarious site. Finally he got feed up his rep on the line and came over… I later used the $50 to buy him a drink to ease the pain and cab home!!! (I know what you’re thinking, "Asia is one CrazytMother… And you know what? Your RIGHT:cool: )
I’m afraid not. That would fall into the category of “science fiction.”

Asia - Since Ralek is a lost cause, and lost many other ways as well, you might want to drop by and play hands when you get stateside. I’m in Maryland and only about 20 minutes from where Ralek claims to live. If you’re interested in what SPM looks and feels like just send me a PM and we’ll coordinate a visit. I take it you’re either in the military or your family is in the military with you being in Germany and all. I really enjoyed my time there (Mainz 1988-90). Are the skinheads still going at it with the Turks or has the racist cr@p finally died down? There used to be some excellent Turkish knife fighters that trained in unadvertised Kali-Silat schools mostly found near the Red Light Districts (Frankfurt and Wiesbaden). Ever run across any of these people?

If you can’t come to me then we can’t fight. If you are able to come to me then that’s great.
Ralek: I am surprised that Mr. Springer is giving you the time of the day. You and most bjj posts are really quite boring-dont you guys have a list of your own?
would you, at the very least, be willing to provide proof of your age? a well-trained adult martial artist fighting with a supposedly untrained potential minor in a public park seems… problematic.
