The whole thing happened around 5:30 yeterday when I was going to get my haircut just a few feet before the barber shop I was going to and I got there with my family 5 minutes after it happened.My mom was driving my brother and I when we noticed that all the cars had sunndenly stopped.I saw this kid run into his house in a hurry and left his little sitster ( I assumed) outside.People were getting out of their cars and I though there was some kind of street fight.My brother got out of the car and went to see and I followed later.Then I got out of the car and ran to see what happened.
When I got close I saw a body laying on the ground and when I got even closer still I noticed it was a little boy around 7 year of age.It was the most horrible site.I got scared and didn’t know what to do. The car that had hit him was some balck jeep.When I saw the driver I could see the look of terror in his face.
My brother when right up to the boy to do cpr (he took a course in school) but there was a man that claimed he was a paramedic.I saw that the man and the woman helping him were doing it worng since I took the course also but failed due to my lazyness.
After a couple of ,minutes blood started to ooze from the back of his head and brain fluid came out.It was horrible.I was too scared to do anything and all I said come on larry let’s go get our haircut and I would just repeat.I felt so stupid saying that but I said it because I was afraid to to see the boy die but my brother didn’t want to leave so I stayed with him.My mouth wasn’t forming any coherent sentnces.It was just a little child no taller than my hip maybe.People were just crowed around as this man and woman tried to perform cpr.That little boy was just laying there lifeless with his body twisted one way and the head the other.The mother came ouyt three minutes later and was crying her eyes out.
There is a diference in t.v.v and real life.It was about one of the scariest things I ever had in my lifetime.
I left and I don’t know what happened to that boy but I swear I saw the boy make an independent gasp even though they had an artificial respirator helping him.It looked bad.
Word advice to you parents and guardians:Always know where your child is and teachthem about crossing streets.
For the rest of you people out there please take care of your loved ones and don’t take people you know for granted they might not be there the next time but it can be prevented.
If it’s not too much too ask wether you believe in God or not,wether your religous or not ,please take 5 minutes to make a prayer for that young boy and his family.They need all the help they can get right now wether they know you’re helping them ornot.
being a Biker, I have seen many bad accidents and know how they can affect you.
Some of those were my Buddies and msot of them happened wright in front of me.
In my Home country part of your requirements for a driver Licence is a First-Aid & CPR Course. As we are legally required to give aid in those situations.
The worst and saddest one I saw, was a Guy on a 50cc jumping a Traffic Light and getting T-boned by a Car.
Helmet in 2 pieces, and the Head was at such an angle that the Doctor that worked close by didn’t even try to hurry to the scene.
Not a good thing to see something like that and you are right it can mess your head up alot.Took me a whole day to get over it.Seeing a hurt child is downright scary.
I hope that by putting up this post people with children can be more aware and prevent such a thing in the future.
That post really got to me, maybe because i was totally unprepared for what it contained and was listeing to kinda sad music or whatever but **** that just got me sad and misty (since i seem to be immune to crying even when it seems appropriate or whatever i’m not crying but i propably would be if i was anything like people that cry over movies).
**** i dont pray often but i’ll most definetly do that in this case, cant imagine what it must have felt like to see the whole deal, would seriously mess me up.
I just hope since you dont know if he lived or not that you’ll receive news (see it in the newspaper or whatever) that he did survive.

NM, its almost dreamy" not in a teeny bopper way of looking at the FONZ" when the crowd gathers in events such as you described, TOTTALY saw the images as i read as i saw my little sister hit ten years ago, and it was my fault, she was to slow, i wanted to get home and drink my chocolate milk, i jaywalked where i usually would, and she followed but got smoked, and i can still remember, PURPLE blood oozing out the skull=ILL:mad:
whats worse is how his parents must be feeling…the worst feeling in the world. I hate nothing more than reckless ignorant drivers, who think that it is all about being in the ‘fast lane’.
im not referring to the ‘black jeep’ person specifically, but to bad drivers in general.
My sister is a really reckless driver, thinks its all about speed, so when ever Im in the car with her, i always tell her to think of how she would feel if a kid just ran out on the road and she couldnt stop in time. she was shocked at the thought and said she would be suicidal..i said exactly, then slow down and control yourself.
I reckon we need more adds on the tele that ate REALLY horific, cause it looks like that is the only way you can get through to these people.

Im sorry you had witness such a tragic sight, but sometimes you need to be upclose ad personal to understand the power of reality.
In one country where lived we had a good series of ads against reckless and drunken driving.
Featuring real incidents and Peoples.
Ads would start of pretty normal and than wham bam something happened.
Fade to black to some text giving details
Final shots are of either a funeral( Dirt shoveled onto camer,etc) or a Survivor.
The one that hit the hardest was a Dad & Son in an accident. Little one died and last shot was of the Father sitting with amputated legs in a Wheel chair crying at the side of the road where it happened.
Not sure if the US would allow something like that,maybe not PC enough.
Not sure what you can be shown in the US in public.
But they seem to have some funny standards.
Which other country would remove ads of a 2yr old Boys in underpants, because it is pornographic.
Heck, how else should you advertise Kiddies underwear.
They actually did that? Ok i gotta say that the congressman or whoever who actually saw something sexual from a 2 y.o. wearing underwear IS the pedophile, other people just see a kid in undies, the ones getting it removed ebcause it’s pornographic must have gotten some kind of sexual message from it that others werent.

I just read that you are Austrian. How funny. I studied at the HauptUni in Wien for a year. My german’s pretty crappy right now, but I’m working on it and Japanese daily. Be interesting to meet with you. I’d say there’s a good chance of it happening soon.

Violence is very real when it comes to you… but rather than talk about this little boy (who I will pray for) I’d like to ask how you’re doing after seeing it? Something like that can actually traumatize a person, so if you have trouble getting it out of your head, maybe dreaming, etc. don’t think it “weak” to talk to someone about it.
Okay? If you’re okay, then that’s great. Just thought I might mention it because something like that IS indeed traumatizing. Or at least it would be to me.
