I enjoyed the gathering. I’d like to work out with some of u guys sometime if yor up to it.
Allan Lee’s seminar
I was thinking about attending but missed my train. What exactly did u guys learn at this seminar?
The workshop was excellent. It discussed the Siu Nim Tau. (form and fighting applications) Tan da, gong da and kwan sau and lots of theory and explanations. Alot of people attended. The room was completely filled, and as you know - it’s a big room!
I’m up for working out, but can we eat first? ![]()
Peter
were any advanced techniques shown?
for example, how to use the bong sau for attack instead of just defense. The same with tan and fook

It was nice meeting you. I regret not having a chance to practice w/ you. I was having a blast with Al, from Dr. Crescione’s school. We spent quite some time doing Lop Sau and man, I found out a little guy can lop and collapse my bong sau (plus I should have a guard hand instead of flopping around). After a while, I experimented with pushing the bong elbow out s’more and it didn’t feel as jammed… should have kept practicing it.
I’m not sure who want to work out with but I recommend finding as many partners as you can to train with. Everyone has something unique to offer. Of course you’re always welcome to visit us in flushing.
BTW - send me an email if you need to get in touch with Dr. C’s group.
Take care,
Marcus
