I spoke to Peter and he will be posting the school address shortly.
As it now stands we would like to meet up at the school around 12:00 noon and leave to get something to eat at 12:15 sharp. After eating we will return to the school for fellowship. Since we will be going to a local restaurant to eat I would ask that everyone e-mail me or post here on the board whether or not they will be coming and how many with each person. This will enable us to get adequate seating for the meal. We are planning on Dim Sum which should be fairly inexpensive, still everyone should be prepared to cover the cost of thier meal.
Please let us know A.S.A.P. if you will be attending so we can plan properly.

The event should now be listed in the KFO calander so you can always reference that for the address as well. Based on e-mails I have received I am estimating that about 12-15 people will be attending. Remember, we will be eating first and then returning to the school. I hope to see everyone there.

It seems that I am the only one who can see the event listed. I think this may have to do with how it was posted and some of the limitations of the system. In order to list it I had to do it as a “Private Event”. I assume this would be visible but apparently it is not. Marcus alerted me to this earlier and speculated that it may have to do with permissions. I will look into this in the next day or two to see if it can be resolved. However, the evnet is occurring and everyone is welcome so don’t let the lack of being listed in the calendar stop anyone from coming.

That would be 41st ave. (not street) It’s right off College Point Blvd. A block and a half from Main st. See you guys/girls there!

I can only give an estimate based on those that have responded. Right now I would estimate about 15 people. It is possible that there may be as many as 20 but until the actual day it is almost impossible to give an accurate count 
. I would say figure between 12-15 to be safe with the possibility of 20. I guess this is for the Dim Sum right??

Just a reminder that this is going to happen tomorrow. We will meet at the school at noon, go for food and return to the school about 1:30 to 2:00 for fellowship. There has been some interest in having demonstrations of different lineages forms etc. However, this will be completely voluntary and there is no agenda planned. Feel free to join us for a day of meeting and greeting and hopefully fun.

I would like to express my grattitude to Marcus and Peter for their help in making this event a success. I would also like to express my appreciation to Sifu Allen Lee for allowing us to use his school for this event.
I would like to thank everyone who was able to attend and wish to say that I enjoyed meeting everyone. I would have liked to have worked out with everyone there but I think all in all those who attended had a good time. There were various lineages represented and there was a refreshing absence of ego. I hope to be able to do this again sometime in the future, maybe in Philly next time.
I am currently in White Plains, NY using my friends computer. I will post more when I return home. Again, thanks for coming and making this a success.
