Of course the problem is that, for some reason people think that they can argue their point across to someone that doesn’t care about their point at all.
And what I have is getting less and less. Have you been watching my Print publishing death watch thread? I can’t even keep up with what is happening to the publishing industry. In short, ladies and gentlemen, I’m fighting a multi-front war right now.
That doesn’t mean that I’m not worried about our forum. It’s grown to be quite a monster. You probably didn’t notice the recent updates we’ve done, just to keep it running. We’re also working on swapping our server, a project that’s very extensive because it involves several sites. What’s more, we’re down to part time IT due to economic issues.
I hope that the wulin community here will pull together and support us with the forum. Instead of saying the forum has gone to ****, post something that’s not ****ty and ignore the rest. If you don’t like trolls, don’t feed them. All the veterans here know that this is the most effective strategy. And if you want people banned, you need to show me and/or the other mods where exactly they have crossed the line. Submit your argument completely with cites/links to exact violations. We have always had a process for banning people and witch-hunt poll threads have had very little to do with that. Ultimately, the content of the forum rests upon all of you. I thank you for your participation.
