Now you might not care for Rudy but he does post comments pertaining to the topic on occasion but 1bad65 does NOTHING but chase him around from thread to thread.
It’s time he got the boot. Add your name to the list and maybe Gene will shut this down permanently.

just to note, i have had some real discussions with 1bad, and have seen good input on topic from him.
however, i do fully agree that this 1bad/abel stuff needs to stop.
Well I’ve noticed thatwhenever stuff like this kicks up all the serious talk shuts down and a lot of the regulars disappear. Recently on the Southern Forum and flame war raged on while all serious talk was reduced to dribble. Seems to me that a lot of guys just take off and just check in to see if the BS has subsided.
As long as this crap goes on it minimizes all other discussion. And it seems to me that there are a few individuals who I believe came from Bullshido that contribute nothing to any meaningful discussion. 1bad65 and unkokusai are prime examples. If they ever did post anything of value it’s been drowned out by the bashing and insults they throw around.
Let’s see what the majority thinks about it.

This whole ordeal has gone on for a long time.
I have actually seen threads that, at the beginning are great and remain on topic with wonderful sharing of information, and good debates. Then I have seen those same threads derailed by this situation and disolve into nothing. All the people that had been posting on topic would leave and let these guys bicker…
kinda sad when I am following a cool thread at work, go home, come back the next day only to find it has disolved into this “internet challenge” BS.
I say they need 1 formal warning. then ban the next offender.

I think your actual mistake was thinking that this forum is really here for martial arts/learning/etc. I have lurked on here since around 2000 or 2001 and it has only devolved over the years. I don’t think the watermark was that high to begin with, but most of the people that knew a lot left long ago. There are a few on here that are still knowledgeable, but the intelligent posts are few and far between when it comes to anything above beginners level discussions.
To put it another way, look at the truthmartialarts forum, one of the best I have been to, and also one of the slowest due to its lack of drama. Drama keeps forums busy, unfortunately.
