Hmm…you noticed that?
It was there when I came in this morning. I had no clue that was there. There are 2 BJJ instructors, a boxing instructor, a Japanese Jit-jitsu instructor, a Tae Kwon Do instructor, an Arnis instructor, an aerobics instructor, etc. at this facility. It could belong to anyone of them. I’m curious now. I’m asking about it tomorrow.

Thanks! Those clips are awesome. Has GM Cheung’s Chum Kiu form changed since that recording in 1984 that is on that website?
Also, I watched a “Calvin Chi Sau” clip. The instructor was saying to use forward intention and not to bounce. Could you elaborate on this? Does your kwoon use this principle and why? (A little more technical question - the fans like this.
I know that when I roll, we only give pressure when we reach the bon/tan/fok position. We tick-tock like a clock, where the tick is a small push forward, releasing the pressure slightly between the tock.

Yup, It’s the same as in the clip.

I meant forward energy and not to bounce up and down.

Forward “intent” through the whole rolling cycle. Maybe a little more during the bong/fuk like you said.
