I grew up around vietnamese and none of those kicks look like what they did, which was alot of foot sweeps and ground leg scissors. The high kicks had them leaning back but more loose.
They dont train like the chinese eaither (inside joke).
Notice that in one of the pics it says they teach vietnamese martial arts. Which is where the kicks are coming from. Love that “log with arms”.

Looks to me their wing chun dummy put on some weight over the years…, it certainly looks a little out of shape.
The wooden dummy in my old school was on a nothing diet. It spars almost 16hrs/day and it has been practicing horse stance forever…
