I was reading a really old post in the internal forum that got really really heated (on the bagua side anyway). Was there ever any confrantation and/or resolution?

The fight was between Blacktaoist’s brother, Maoshan and Ross, and was resolved in the traditional way between two martial arts teachers. The results should not effect your practice much, but take note how things should be handled between respected teachers/pratitioners of their respective arts.

In the old tradition, challenge matches were private. The two people met privately, tested their skills, and then the results were kept to themselves. You may not be part of that tradition, and that’s cool because we’re not living in ancient China, but understand that some still go by the old way. I doubt that the results of this challenge will be posted. If they are, I’ll be interested to hear them, but hey…
I don’t think that the result should be posted.
Both took the traditional route of resolving a confict and thus EVERYTHING should be done/handled in the traditional method.
Revealing the results will do nothing more than to further split the MA community and cause further troubles & disputes in the future.

In case your curious…IKFMC came in with some angular roundhouse kicks. Moashan flanked him and started to pepper his back. IKFMC hooked around his head and threw him but they continued to roll so that Moashan was on top and he got up. IKFMC didn’t try to keep him. IKFMC took the initiative again faking with a front kick and coming in with a hard right. Moashan sidestepped left elbowing his head and continuing the clockwise circle into an arm bar.
IKFMC rolled out of it and started kicking to keep Moashan away. They got up again. This time, IKFMC did a wide hook, as Moashan tried to get inside, he flew in with a strait knee. He let Moashan get his wind after a few breathes, Moashan’s internal breathing helped him. Instead of being shaken Moashan relaxed and got his bearings. This time he took the offensive and got close. Sticking like in wing chun. He started to do some finite movements and threw IKFMC back a little. Moashan looked like a dead fish, empty, clear eyed. IKFMC took him to be dazed and went to throw him the same way, but IKF casually stepped out and then whipped a front kick under his ribs. This time IKFMC was winded and they called it a draw.
