Hey Savi,
You’re now my favourite keyboard warrior LOL - the smallest dogs always yap the
loudest;)
Oh, so now you’re the pro on HFY’s anti-grappling techs huh? As if you even know what hell we mean by “anti-grappling” boy.
Well I know wing chun and I know grappling so I know where wing chuns relative strengths and weaknesses lie. Ive also seen your system and the footwork and strategy it employs (from Benny when he was here - who seems not to have heard me when I asked ‘so can you show us how you would stop a basic double leg’) - granted im no expert but I dont need to be - I can make an educated guess as to its efficacy against a trained grappler. Besides I would say the onus is on you to show that it works, not on me to disprove it…just as someone who is touting a ‘miracle pill that will cure all your ails for the low low price of x $’ needs to esablish that it works to have any credibility. Still I guess people like you (the zealots and true believers who view any criticism as blasphemy) are living proof that theres one born every minute.
Simply put, this punk doesn’t know what the “F” anti-grappling actually is, especially when it comes to using WING CHUN to do it.
Yeah sure…you use your superior mastery of time and space to position two hands against his one… blah blah. Its all theory. The fact that you think it works shows you dont have any experience with grappling. You think grapplers dont know what to do if someone tries to angle off or stiff arm them? They know every valid way to counter their moves and they know how to accomplish their move despite that. Simply put:) people have grappled for thousands of years and have developed the most effective counters against grappling since those are the people they grapple against. In other words If you want to learn to defend against grappling learn to grapple…you may only use the defensive portion but that doesnt mean you are anti grappling (just as learning to return a serve in tennis doesnt mean you are doing ‘anti tennis’)
You must have learned grappling from a Weng Chun master -
No I learn grappling from this guy
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=p9t62Ou8z6A&mode=related&search=
And also trained with these guys

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9N4HJRwY2WU
But I will be meeting with BJJ Blackbelt Andreas next month and hope to learn something from him
BTW Who have you learnt grappling from?
And whilst we’re at it, why dont you tell the forum specifically how would you counter - double underhooks, a double leg, a low single, a high single, a rear body lock…
And how would you escape a triangle choke, a foot lock, side control, mount, back mount?
or from someone who couldn’t handle it back in some hotel room.
I thought we were talking about anti grappling not structure tests? But of course, not having any proper body structure will mean that any grappling defense is going to be hopeless. And you’re right it is a shame that after years of wing chun and calling yourself a master you cant pass the most basic hand on chest structure test.
You’re just a boy following the crowd.
Not really. If anything on your side its a question of the blind leading the blind. Besides WRT the word ‘boy’ looking at the pictures in MKF I would say its you that needs a few more years before you start shaving.
