So, would it be easier to judge my posture if I was not wearing a shirt or doesn’t it matter? Obviously I wouldn’t be wearing baggy clothes or anything.

Be aware of what postures will be photographed. Be aware of color or black and white.
Wear somthing with a contrasting trim for side view postures B&W
T-shirt (close fitting but not tight fitting clothes for all-around shots
Drapping clothesor no shirt for arms wide apart photographs…
