Last Saturday during a chat with my Sifu he pointed out one thing that struck me as kind of interesting.
“If you haven’t learned certain skills after 10yrs, you won’t learn them after 20 or 30 of training either.”
What’s your take on it?

Hmmm. Very interesting point. However, I think it’s a blanket statement. Probably true for the majority of people but surely not for everyone. What about those who just take there time and learn little by little?
Very interesting nonetheless.

In our case mostly starting the movement from inside the Body, twining energy, being open and relaxed.
Eample:
In Yang Tai Chi during stepping and moving you can often see the “spiral”, with us it shouldn’t be visible but still be there.
But I think his statement can be applied to any style that has certain “requirements” for mastery.
yeah, that’s what I was thinking he meant. I think I’d agree with that.
