Those vids will just enable fakers to start McWombat schools.
It must take a lot of hard work to put on an event like this, you can ***** and moan about how it is prostituting the art, but yet those complainers are here engaging in martial arts social media. So it seems they are not actually against the promotion of the arts to the public[as society is supposed to work] but are simply not capable of making a difference themselves so they Turn to the dark side{JEALOUSY}.
Business is business
It’s a big production that costs both a lot of time and a lot of money. Just like many schools pay their rent by offering daycare services, we offer all sorts of divisions as long as there are competitors. First-timers. It’s one of those everyone-gets-a-trophy that angers conservatives so much (at least that’s what I read on sitonmyfacebook). We actually poached the concept of first-timers off Open Karate tournaments. Personally, I’ve never been that into the idea of first timer divisions. I agree with the conservative stance that its not really a competition if everyone gets a trophy. I’m a former NCAA athlete; I’m of the philosophy that people who compete must lose. But I know the financials behind first-timers and cannot deny that, so I’ve endeavored to set it up so it’s clear that first-timers aren’t really competitors. We do provide for some high level competition, but the apex of the pyramid sits on a wide base. We’d offer a wombat division if there were enough entries. Somebody’s gotta pay the bills. Heck, bawang doesn’t even have the scratch to pay his own way. He’s not the only one. As the song goes ‘Ain’t nowhere till you can pay your own way back’. ![]()

Was that a reply to my post?
I was just joking with Bawang about his real deal Wombat Combat, not complaining.
Bawang can take it. He’s ok.
