You are making less sense than a kung fu guy talking about fighting. What is all this?
when in a fight
you have to have a cool head, keen observation and cold heartedness.
even when you are injured, in pain, sweat and blood, you still keep cool and focus on the opponent’s next move, or observe and find out his opening for your next move.
how do you train that mindset, emotionless, cool head etc?
some by sweeping the floor everyday, you know the change in the dust on the floor.
some by observing and trimming minute difference in a ban sai tree.
me, by watching the everchanging clouds.
it helps me to unclutter my thoughts and focus my mind.
it helps to lose all lingering thoughts, emotions and feeling.
so that my mind is all clear or blank and my emotions are calmed.
it helps me with my daily work, too. not just about fighting alone.
Imagine that: in WWI, you were in the trench, with trench feet and coldness. you could only see the clouds above, the captain sounded the whisle, every one climbed up the trench and faced certain deaths from charging into fenced wires, german MG and sniper rifles,–
even when your were shot and down on your knee or on the floor, you could see the clouds
before you bled to death, you could still see the clouds.
sometimes in all that heat and madness of fighting, nothing made any sense.
keen observation and the will to survive will make most senses.
cloud watching or not
bird watching, whale watching----
or just to go the zoo and watch the bear or monkey
etc etc
