It’s a three piece puzzle, and in one configuration there are 15 ninjas, and by moving the pieces around, there are 14. It’s crazy!!!
Actually, I think I understand how it works, but if anyone here is good at logic and they way to help me solve it lemme know. I’ll post my attempt at explaining it if there is interest.
Thanks,

“So, you supposed martial artists, what are you trining for? Who are you training to fight? Apparently no one. Because even in a hypothetical situation, you puss out, Ha! Ha!” --Ashida Kim
there’s a group of 5 1’s (counting above and below together) but by putting a group of 111 over 11 and vice cersa it’ll look like there’s 6
although actually 2 of 'em have there arse hanging out…that’s my technical explanation
when you arrange it so there’s 14 ninjas, 6th and 7th from the left have a head and a foot respectively, when there’s 15 ninjas they don’t have head or foot, like the unpaired 1’s
aw,crap. i’m a nerd!
