I did not think much of the clips at all. The “Wing Chun Guy” kept on leaning into the attack and in some ways he lost his composure more than the guy in green shorts.
Suffice to say against a more experienced sparring partner the “Wing Chun Guy” woldn’t stand a chance. I was not impressed with him at all, no footwork, low guard, leading leg was way to straight = zero power and zero free movement.
W.C telegraphed a lot by leading with his right more than anything else, you could read this guy like an open book. The front kick was more like I’ll raise my leg and see what happens the “falling down” at every contact point by his opponent made the W.C guy look effective but in reality it was garbage.
are we supposed to comment on their authenticity?

the first one with the skinheads is a set up. notice how the busy crowd is carefully positioned on the rear and flanks of both fighters to give the camera the full shot. if this was for real the big guy would at least try to use his weight advantage and hap kiu ie eat his opponents space. i love the chain punches at the end, very cinematic but only acheivable on a motionless dummy. perhaps the big guy is lacking a few motor neurone bridges?
the second one is another sham exemplifying the wing chun prowess of his friend and nothing else. his friend (the one in the white shirt) has unfortunate delays between his moves. he lacks any sort of lau or flow, but it looks quite successfull against his one move robotic attacker.
