there is no way in hell anyone will ever get a honest and intelligent debate on this forum with thei likes of joseph and his alter ego slurpent, an fu pow around. this forum is a trap for people trying to share any information. it reminds me of gladiators and lions dens. throw a piece of meat out and watch them all attack. i mean without me, this forum is very boring. just look at the system i have been working on…tien loong bai mei…everyone is debating and trying to pick apart its meaning, but all one had to simply do is ask…“frank, what does tien loong bai mei mean?” and i would have simplly said it means heavenly dragon slashes its tail which to me gives the indea of sorting of a whiipping motion which sort of draws the image of the way i use the short sticks so fluid yet in a whipping motion at the same time referring to the slicing of the blades…its more the imagery than anything. what i teach is proven, and i have no problems demonstrating this new system. i am 100% sure of its effectiveness. i have been studying escrima for some time now and clf more than 20 years. my sifu is very well known and his fighting prowess is also well known. rene latosa is also another well known fighter so i got the best of both worlds in one system.
in regards to doc fai wong, he was teaching clf prior to lau buns passing in 1967. i have the exact address. see doc fai wong seems to think people won’t remember the truth, but his classmates do. and i have been in very close contact with all of my si baks and si sooks. that is how i know what the true meaning of dfw’s claim to being called the um ying kid. he makes it out as some type of title, when it was a vague reference to that kid who peforms um ying, not the “um ying kid”.
doc fai wong stayed around under jew leong for a while and claimed he learned jew leongs way so he can help teach jl’s students. but doesn’t it make sense that jew leong started with lau bun in 1941 just 2 years after hung sing kwoon was formally established, and doc fa wong started with lau bun prior to his passing. see, most of you don’t know how lau buns school trained
and if you did, then you know that 3 years is not a lot of time to study with lau bun since the first 6-12 months you spent doing jot ma.
there are witnesses to doc fai wong learning actual sets from jew leong. doc fai wong once told another member of (while they were still teenagers) hung sing the reason why he learned gung fu was to make money.
i am a true follower of lau bun, and i have done my research, and not much has changed in the way of training accept in applications since lau bun usually taught his students not the younger generation but jew leongs generation to kill with it. and as with everything that survives evolution, clf must also grow and adapt to new circumstances, mindsets, and such to continue to be effective in every day situations. therefore, as long as my new system is effective, and is basically pure at heart, then tien loong bai mei should not be open for discussion until someone tests its legitmacy.
it is people like joseph and such that are so bored they have to pick apart anything that doesn’t come from them such as joe keit beating a shaolin monk. i couldn’t believe they are so bored.
this is why they mean nothing to me. i am actually promoting clf, and my new system, and that is why i am convincing exponents of such styles as wing chun, tae kwon do, and a few other styles that what i have to teach is very effective in everyday situations. i understand if what i am doing has no merit, or is actually ineffective, then sure go aheaed and tear me apart. but before you can do so, you must meet me and prove my system doesn’t work.
it is the weak minded who sit back and pick apart things with their mind like the name of a system, while the strong will check it out for themselves, and if it is not effective i will definetly be told so.
ok, so you say have an intelligent debate, with who? show me someone who will not pick apart every word i say so they can have the upper hand? is there anyone on this forum who will truly listen and judge for themselves? come on, there is a group here with joseph being the ring leader. joseph, fu pau, slurpent. they are the hienas of choy lee fut scavaging on the bones of those they attack. but remember the hienas get attacked by wild animals as well.
