What are the names of the sets performed? Are you sure this is BSL?
This version seems a little wushu-fied. No offense.
forms
It looks fairly different than the traditional ten sets from Master Ku’s lineage, I definately understand that. Our comes thru our CLF lineage primarily and the forms have changed a lot over the last 40 years.
We only practice the Sil Lum 6, 8, spear, 5,(+ weapons), and a form of my Sifu’s that he calls lohan. I have had a lot of fun comparing the differences& similarities between my forms and other bak sil lum players.
Our forms are flashy no doubt about that, but from my understanding there isn’t a single movement that my sifu learned missing from our form.
Do you have any videos of 6, 8, 5 or the spear? I would be interested in seeing them.
