But almost everything about The is a character flaw… not a flaw in the art… and Im not learning under the… I learn from sifu ryan, who is an excellent sifu.

Im pretty sure a good deal of SDers know about it… And as far as Im concerned, regardless of what anyone else here thinks, its kung fu, and Im not learning it from sin. So…

I just get urked sometimes, like when one dude told me his art was “more traditional shaolin” than the one that I was doing at a tournie after doing a broadsword form… 
fyi, I was doing a traditional northern broadsword set… never even said it was shaolin, but whatever, explained to him where the set came from ect… had no idea. Then he went ahead and did a kama form. I showed him a shaolin set that I new before the empty hand catagory, still, wasn’t convinced that it was shaolin… :rolleyes:

Just seems there is a higher concentration of folks like these associated with SD schools… or at least the ones I’ve been around.
NP- I know what you’re saying and agree 100 %. It’s just gotten to the point where this whole argument is bogus. When The’ finally comes out and says (which will NEVER happen) that he’s full of BS, then it’ll be known. But, it’ll never happen, so why try to fight it??

Like I have said before, I have never experienced Shaolin Do first hand, but from what I have seen on the net, selling Shaolin Do as kung fu is like trying to sell a Daewoo as a BMW. Just my POV

Im just letting the screenname shaolin-do know that he wont be taken seriously or treated with any sort of cordiality or respect. But there ARE a FEW here who are decent people and thats Who Shaolin-do screename should concentrate on.

I disagree. If he acts like an adult, listens to what others have to say, and treats others with respect, he’ll do fine.
