“My future is my anti-drug!” hahaha

and Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout!

Everybody’s right, not good to be disrespectful like last yrs bashing of CLC by far-lessers, but also it’s very unrealistic to try and pin a modern “War On Drugs” mentality on old China.

We cluck our tongues from a perspective completely removed form their world… and completely removed from our own reality for that matter… I mean the “war” never WAS on drugs and the only office interested in your future is the IRS…

lack of info

I guess you guys have noticed that there’s bascially NO info on the web about this style.

I’ve ordered a video from Sifu Yip Wing Hung. Anyone know if this was wise?

I’ve studyed Shotokan, Wing Chung, and Hung Gar. Know if this will help?

Here you can find a book with another perspective on lung ying.

Evil, have fun with the video. Yip Sifu has two of them out. Pay attention and you can pick up some key points of dragon.

Thanks man!!

Observatsion of a Total Dragon Newbie

Ok so I’ve been studying the video like a madman. Here are my impressions. Since the video does not give specific names for the techniques, I’ll try to be descriptive. I’ve

I’ve studyed 3 other martial arts. Shotokan, wing chun, and hung gar. The techniques in Dragon are some I’ve studyed before, but they’re set up in a different and cool way. The ‘ready hand’ being a closed hand outward block is really cool, and using this with a simultanious punch really creates power. I like also how the openhanded outward block curls around the attackers arm. The crescent shaped stepping is something I’ve run into before and I like that as well. Palm strikes are one of my all time favorite techniques. :stuck_out_tongue:

The forms are beautiful. Actual practical techniques and artistic beauty as well. I’m learning the second one now. Is the introcuctory salute symbolic of something?

Any tips or hints from Lung Ying practicioners out there? Sorry if I sound doofy, but I’m pretty stoked.

no-one has the origanal lung-ying,its all propiganda.don’t wanna start any-thing but what you have today[so called l-y]is pittyful and cr@p,slow and too much structure,no simplicity at all.
just my experiences,don’t go crying?

its more like karate, which is also cr@p

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Poor attempt at a bait. Have you lost your knack, sui-fuw? Is your kung fu failing you, sui-fu?

Come now, you can do so much better than that, can’t you, sui-fu?

Hey evil,

Glad you like the art. Maybe ask more specific questions and you’ll get some answers.

Thanks Meltdawn. I was just rambling at the time. I’m just excited.

Guilty Pleasures

Figure now’s as good a time as any, as good a place as any, to mention that I’ve liked your school for a while meltdawn. I really like the website and the way you guys present your style- the backgrounds, the photos used, etc. It really made me want to train there; unfortunately the only times I’ll be in Flahrida are visiting my grandparents in Palm Coast. (ie. not too often)
I’m gonna try to pick up that book or video whenever i get some money; just to get some more background info.
It’d be cool to see other schools presenting their art in a similar manner.

Just some thoughts from an ignoramus.

Lost,
I am honored, humbled, and I thank you. My only goal when designing and producing the site was to show my utmost respect for my Master and his art.

When you are in Florida, please let me know; I will go out of my way to try to intoduce you to my Master.
