“groovy” and “outtasight.”
I am not that old. most of You ARE old.
I beleive my parents already had a color TV by the time I came around. Old for me was shows like Banana Splits and Lancelot Link Secret Chimp, Laugh-In, the Monkees, Get Smart. and Electric Company. Although I did love some of the much older shows, like Bozo the Clown, The Lone Ranger, and the old black and white Superman, Howdy Doody, and I Love Lucy among others.

Aha, you aren’t old. Dig it, “book” means to leave. Never heard of it used as you posted.
Now excuse me, time to book. Later dudes.
yeah, it’s splitsville for me too.
Catch ya on the flip-flop!
You know are you getting on when the music you rocked out to in High School is now being played on the Classic Rock station.
about twenty years ago, I new I was getting old when I saw kids in the record store looking at Beatle albums, because that’s the band Paul McCartney from Wings, played in, and Jimi Hendrix, because he sounds like Robin Trower and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Today’s kids don’t even know who Paul McCartney or Robin Trower and Stevie Ray Vaugn are! They look at Madonna the way we probably looked at Peggy Lee, and Micheal Jackson the way we saw Sinatra!
(ok, maybe Libirace)
Liberace! You are old!
Actually I predate transisters, stereo and color TV. We got our first TV in '62. A second hand Admiral black and white. It wasn’t cheap either.

Forget those guys. In class the other day I was talking with some students about music and mentioned that I was enjoying Linkin Park and Nine Inch Nails…They said that’s okay if you like “Old school”. ![]()
Anyway you know you’re getting old when the new president is younger than you are.
Yo AJM,
I never heard of transisters. You’re into that?
I have heard of transistors though.
mickey
Oso,
You really need to get out more. While you are out there get “The warriors’s Journey” dvd… the restored version of the Game of Death.

Actually, they show up on commercials. Try explaining that to today’s youth.

I remember when transistor radios were cutting edge. As for TV, when the parents finally got color I got to put the old TV in my room. It was a 19" Zenith Commando with remote (4 buttons that when ‘clicked’ struck a steel bar, like a tuning fork, that sent a high pitched tone. On/Off/Channel Up/Channel Down).
