I visited http://www.taekwon.net and they had a video clip of Taekkyun. It looked like kung fu. Actually, it looked a lot like San Shou. What is it?
It’s something like a korean version of shaolin wushu.
The supposed martial art or sport that somehow survived thousands of years underground that TKD is based upon, at least according to Korean revisionists.

Hello! We may not know the exact lineage of the Okinawan styles but we sure know where TKD comes from, Shotokan. I really like many Korean arts but always find the revisionist history silly.
