Tai mantis is NOT a combination of mantis and tai chi. Tai mantis is very similar to 7 star mantis. 7 star mantis forms are all connected and also use a lot of crushing steps. Tai mantis sets are more broken and use many hops. The basic concepts of fighting are the same.
