Posts=Martial Ability?

Hey seven star look I made it to ONE HUNDRED!!!yyyyeeeeeehhhhaaaa!!!(GONG SHOW WINNER MUSIC PLAYING) where is chuck berry and jp morgan when you need them???/

Conclusions

Top ten things ive learnt from this board…

1 You can learn martial arts by mail order and then open up a school and have pleanty of students learning your very own version of something someone you havent met made up.

2 If you dont want to prove you can fight just say your arts to deadly for the general public and cant be demonstrated.

3 Most of us spend way more time here than we do training.

4 If this board went down for 24 hours we would all have a nervous breakdown.

5 If you cant personaly make your art work you can always fall back on ‘so and so once won a competion somewhere with it’.

6 No one here actualy gets in streetfights but we all have a lot of opinions on how they are won or lost.

7 You dont have to be able to use your art you just have to be able to perform it.

8 Dispite none of us learning Wu-shu we all know it to be a load of crap. Same go’s for many other arts actualy.

9 We are capable of deciding whether or not a given school is ‘authentic’ based purely on our own combined opinions. We dont need to train there or even see there stuff to come to these conclusions.

10 We are capable of deciding when a well known martial arts master is infact a fraud… again without training or having seen there stuff.

Sorry to be so negative im just poking fun:D

Yeah, but you’re right!!

I’ve learnt a lot from this board too. I won’t bore everyone by going into what, but I have. And its cool talking to people from other countries.

More important points learned here:

-Apparently, we will all get nostalgic about our present trolls, and ten years from now will say “These trolls are so lame compared to Stacey”

-Five out of ten of us actually know what Jon is talking about when he says he’s a drow elf ranger, and the other five could just ask Budokan.

-Its one of the few places one can find links to videos titled “Mount” and not see white trash girls from Lincoln, Nebraska doing things with fat men.

-Occassionally, conversations will break out in different languages, and some of us will feel bad for giving Diego such a hard time.

-Ginger Fist’s mom is right now buddha palming him in the groin as a lesson

-Most of us still have jobs, which is shocking, as we use that time to post useless lists on internet forums

-Do not post on death metal

-Ryu loves Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and when he’s not posting or throwing around his dummy, he likes to study the film for secret martial techniques.

-If it doesn’t hurt, you’re not doing it right(GDA taught us all that one)

-If you want to start a fight, start a thread about why wing chun should be spelled with a T.

you mean it shouldn’t be?

Oatcakes have suddenly become popular here

*I have learned that NO ONE has, is or ever will eat an oatcake, and that no-one knows anything about them. Hence I might have to mail you all an Oatcake information leaflet ™.

*Oh, and the best Pink Floyd IS Dark Side.

*And Jacki takes it up the ass.

*That “Dangle the Wonder Mule” probably is real

*Joe “Fecal Flakes” Kavey will one day run for president

*KC Elbows will end up living in Lincoln, Nebraska, as the Oatcake God punishes him for a life of ignorance.

Tae Li knows some pssified blokes

*Jet Li secretly reads Readers Digest

That is all. Except…

Things I learned:

  • Even though this is a kungfu forum, most of the posters will degrade to the state of a 13 year old nerd on a chat room when someone with a female name starts posting.

  • I have 10 years of martial arts experience, but all of it was a big crappy waste of time.

  • Be careful what you say about someone on this forum, because there is a good chance that they will be on the next plane to your house to give you a beating.

  • In order to be trained in BJJ, you must swear an oathe to antagonize everyone who trains in a different martial art than you.

  • Although experienced kung fu students are calm and collected in the real world, it doesn’t carry over to the internet.

  • A teacher from my old school downloads porn! (Alright I didn’t learn that here, but I thought it was interesting enough to share :D)

My old chemistry teacher was a kerb crawler!!!

fat slob = me

i learned that i have to stop using unavailable classes as an excuse to stop training. it’s been so long since i’ve practiced the few forms i know that i’m starting to forget them. that’s sad. add to that the immeasureable weight gain and you have the makings of a brand new ralek, without all the boasting. that’s even sadder. KFO saved my life…well, the kung fu part of it anyway.

Wang Si Zhong

“Carnies built this country…well, the carnival part anyway.”
-Homer Simpson

  • i have learned that the lower the quality of the member, the more attention they get (a moron like ralek vs. a swell guy like kung lek)

  • i have learned that the whole fistibuns saga MUST NOT DIE!

  • i have learned that wing chun (all flavors, including my own) people can be real arrogant *****s about their style :frowning:

  • i have learned that martial arts may be wholly different in nature, but that most martial artists are of quite a similar and fascinating breed (like a yorkshire terrier, but not as ugly)

  • i have learned that most KFO members are really jaded about the whole idea of women wanting to post here – seems wushu chik and a couple others are the only ones we don’t scrutinize or question their gender.

  • i have learned (once again) that i really have to train even more and that, while it pays for things like rent and food and cable modems, work really gets in the way of training enough.

One thing I learned is that I ask more questions than Apprentice. Nah, I already knew that…I think. I don’t know guys what do you all think?

Oh, and that Canadien pizza sucks, and Chicagan pizza is da shiznit!!!

(spoken in a an unimaginably evil voice)

YOU ARE MISTAKEN.

FISTIBUNS MUST DIE!!

(In normal KC Elbows voice)
Like the yorkshire terrier bit, and I agree about work. Don’t they realize we were meant to be warriors!!

BTW, I’ll lay down forty that if a new member came on pretending to be a man, then revealing that they were, in fact, a women, no one would give a rats arse.

I’ve learned to attack critial points ver well.
