ok! on a serious note, for the styles that rise and fall. which do you prefer rising or falling techniques?
do you think body size comes into consideration?
i like both but i feel more in control when sinking. ![]()

On a serious note…
Good one! HEHEHEHE
First you refused to divulge one shred of information about yourself or your lineage because it is “secret”. Your word. Then you changed your tune to the much more contrived story about gangsters getting you if you did. This was all after introducing yourself to members of this forum by accusing a couple of well known and no longer living Sifus of drug abuse. Now you want to be serious. Seriously, I liked you better when you were banned…
the way its going i probably would, but really i think you nob jockeys should be as well. your as bad as myself so dont start sh!t.
i knew that one of you guys would stick there fat head in on this topic. go and watch a doo wai video if your not interested. i need some cash if you like ill sell a form of me and i wont fall off balance i promise!!
funny thing is that even a pak mei teacher in ny dont even want to know doo wai., did you know that. he is not very respected by other kung fu masters. GET THE POINT!!!

I could care less how respected GM Doo is by “other masters” as you put it. It would be impossible for he or anyone to be as disrespected as you are on this forum. Most people simply ignore you. I’m the only one stupid enough to respond to this thread. And those that don’t ignore you invariably wind up in some kind of on-line war with you. Let me know when you get that video made so that I can notify the nearest Triad chapter.
the video is for you because i need money!
who cares what you think, 4 years and you think you have been there and done that, see you in a few more years moron.

When did I say that I had “been there and done that”? Find an arrogant post of mine. Most of the time I qualify my experience with BFP by saying that I really don’t know that much, which is true. If you talk trash about GM Doo, then you can bet that you are going to get a response from me…if you talk trash about me, I could really care less. You don’t really know either of us, but you have more to go on with me, and it won’t keep me up nights if you call me names, I really and truly don’t care. Billy Pilgrim is a fictional character out of a Kurt Vonnegut novel genius. You know, fictional…just like your nameless Sifu.
nameless sifu!
like your fictional sub-systems, gm doo wai is probably a nice person but students like you and the rest that are destroying his family system.
email me billy, arguing here will get me banned. hey but thats what you want you wanker.
how much cash you got, ill get a video out to you to learn real kung fu.
peace
Please let me know how I am destroying his system. Email on the way…
I do not feel so good while rising because I think that I somehow lose a little control of my centerline while rising, floating. Sinking makes me feel more comfortable and safe because it is so much more compact and rooted. I guess that in rising I only like to rise if I am going to withdraw back and strike the attacker. But sinking seems to never fail!!!
Fu
C’mon you “veterans”…
these concepts cannot be divided. It’s not a matter of “liking one better”. Is this a real thread?
Depends on the move fierce tiger. Certain techniques would rise, some would sink. I feel comfortable doing both. Do you only feel comfortable while sinking your energy?
Mo Q: Yes these concepts can be divided. If you are practicing a slow med you are dividing them in order to realize the motion needed for the opposite, simple physics. In order to sink correctly one has to be able to float correctly too. I was merely amswering this with more of a thought on attack. When most people think of rising and falling floating and sinking they think of something like ying jow, ping choy (eagle claw, straight punch). Of course, this is a float to defend sink to attack move. However, if someone is withdrawing from their opponent and they throw a floating attack (or better termed in this case as a withdrawing attack) they are simply rising while they attack.
F
yes, i can rise and fall!
but i like the power when sinking.
moq- you can divide both and they can be done together. im asking which one do you prefer thats all. ![]()

Woh! Felt like going nowhere for a while but…
Bak Mei
Though this is all a matter of choice, technique and situation. I tend to float in attack whilst crushing the bridge and sink when entering the door to strike. In retreat the method would be dependant on the corresponding attack received thus in retreat we attack, in advance we attack, likewise for defense in defense we attack in attack we defend. “Always surging forward(mentally) with attack in mind the matter of sinking or floating is only relative to a moment” but it should be natural for the kill.
Oh which has more power to a beginner it would be to sink but in reality it is both the power differs. The power to defend could be as much a weapon as to attack. The Jing in rising/floating is as powerful as falling as the most powerful requires power in one and the other. That is to expect one more than the other in terms of power is to reduce the actuall potential power of that which seems more powerful.

Can someone answer my question on what is this controversy about Bak Fu Pai? How does it relate to Bai Mei? I ask this b4 and never got and answer. LOL ![]()
No controversy. Just misunderstandings. As for relationship with Bak Mei, this has been covered in the past…I’ve seen some similarities, but I don’t study Bak Mei…
So SM tried to meet the silly question head-on…
but maintained a balance…
This is a sad question because it’s like how outsiders might think that Taoists sit around going “Dude, which do you like better YIN or YANG?”
What kind of question is this? Which loop of a fig.8 is your favorite?
I know most personal claims are hollow, but these shallow labels come from a perspective far below that which is boasted. I never believe what people say about themselves anyway, but this is a stupid thread trying to hide behind a weak pretense of esotericism…
FT- who cares about “a bak mei teacher” in NY or wherever? I mean, YOU are a bak mei teacher right??? LOL

read and think bout this
mr tiger said above:
funny thing is that even a pak mei teacher in ny dont even want to know doo wai., did you know that. he is not very respected by other kung fu masters. GET THE POINT!!!
and then followed that up by writing:
gm doo wai is probably a nice person but students like you and the rest that are destroying his family system
Mr tiger, what exactly are you trying to accomplish here? You state one thing as if you “know” wht you are talkin bout and then your follow up shows light on the first statement, if you read it its clear.
another thing if you are 16years pak mei, why ask what up or down movements are made? it could be construed that you really do not know any Pak Mei because a senior Pak Mei man would need to ask non clan members how any tech was done.
It also looks like you are trying repeatedly to start infighting with a clan that does not do such things -please disist with such nonsense
what do you know about any pak mei in ny?
what do you know about what a pak mei sifu thinks or wants? more importantly who needs respect?
is it one who needs some sort of validation?
other members here catch that? what your thought?
dont attack me with no kinda bs, this is quoted from your writing, im asking you to clarify.
