Yes they are still around I see them advertising around the campusess and run into a few of there students every once and a while.
allen used to throw changs name into their green dragon studios tapes , i don’t know if he had ever met the man, or trained with him as he proclaims on his videos. he says he’s a second generation chang as well. mr hamp also makes it apparent that he is a second generation chang practioner as well, probably for the say reasons as allen, money .never giving any reconition to gm chicoine. hamp never met gm chang. does he even train at isca school in akron anymore with gm chicoine?

Why not ask him yourself. He posts here under the name Ho Chun. Steve is a very accessable person and is upfront about himself and his training.
I have met GM Chicoine and he is one hell of a walking encyclopedia of Kung fu skills and knowledge. He taught me his Iron Palm at his summer house here in Massachusetts.

well i guess calling someone coach to you may be silly, good to here you learned iron palm from gm chicoine, that must have been pretty cool learning from him, he is awsome. you’ll always have that to reflect on,no one can take that away from you .did you learn other development excercisesas well? hopefully you did. he is a walking encyclopidia of kung fu knowledge thats a fact. just doesn’t seem like something that steve is doing would be something gm chicoine would go for based on the way he trains and what is school represents. his senior students are awsome too. but just like when you learned iron palm from gm chicoine , so did his students, and you know as well as i do it is alot differant than whats out there. sort of like a "treasure ".you have it ,and the only way to get it is to go to ho chun or be associated with someone who teaches there. so i am surprised you don’t see anything wrong with this.
I guess the only way to find out is to hear it from the horse’s mouth. Again I have heard this is a sore subject. Sore subjects dont come from blessings. It is not illegal to share information like this, but it is unethical in the MA community.

Always good to see what your elder brothers are doing with the same material. At least in my eyes. plus I have no problem with supporting Steve Hamp with his great material. Always good to see the nuances between what people see in the same material, to catch all the subtlety that one can.
I contacted GM Chicoine a few years ago and he agreed to teach me at his house. But that was a one time deal and for now on people have to visit him at his school in Ohio.
Million, I see no problem as Steve trained under GM Chicoine. I have not heard anything from GM Chicoine about it. If you know something that we do not then please share. If not then stop being so cryptic as its assanine.
Cool, Thanks for the response. hey could you answer somthing that I always wonderd? Did you find that the teachings from the Green Dragon Tape (GM Chicoines part), GM Chicoine and Steve Hamp all seemed to be same teachings or did you find some small differnces between them all.
You can PM me if you dont want to give any details. Just something that I have been curious about. Kind of like the telephone game or what ever it is that every time some thing passes down it changes and also that some teachers save a few details out for there students when mass producing a technique.

As far as I’m conserned Steve Hamp is an opertunistic piece of **** and coward. He does not have Chicoines permission now or ever to sell videos of any kind on any exersise or program that came from Ho Chun.The fact of the matter is Steve Hamp is marketing medicine that he is claiming authentic that in no way did he ever get the formula.So to cut to the chase if Steve Hamp wants his ass beat he knows how to get a hold of me.

Funny how you are this unknown making claims that Steve Hamp, who has a website and presents a very public face to what he is offering, is a coward comes across as being assanine and rather silly. We know the coward is not Steve, but you for trying to stir up poop where there is none. Steve posts here as well as his own site. If you have such an issue and if Teacher truly feels this way, why not post it on Steve’s forum?

Being that Teacher is extremely vocal when it comes to things that he does not like nor tolerate, I would assume that he would make a very public statement about Steve and his material if he did not want them to be public.
I was taught the material, I could teach it to someone else if I so choose. It is mine now that I have been shown it. Once you show someone something, it is no longer yours.
Besides there are no more secrets. Fools and lazy asses are not going to stick to the iron palm program, so all those fools and dilletantes are out when it comes down to training real material.
No offence, but I will support Teacher and Steve Hamp as they are the same family.
