when you get hit and you are all done.

when you are tired or worn out-- giving up and throwing the towel.

when you know already who has the better hand/skills and it is pointless to go on.

when nobody needs to prove something that is not there anymore.

Well I am waaayyyy past my prime then. Cause after 3mins of sparring, I am icing both knees for 20mins(have patellar tendonitis), I have various bruises I am putting jow in, and taking excedrin back and body.

Quality over quantity, period.

Not less sparring, BETTER sparring.

Yeah. What he said. Or you’ll end up breaking your knuckles too often like I do.

when You find yourself fighting dirty in sparring is time to give it up! sounds about right. Much thought given to this I see.. Better off youst buy them a beer> Still its about having class( old school term )

Yes, but as I’m in the car park (parking lot) just use the tools at hand, a car.

you just got to keep doing it so your cardio catches up…that’s really the only thing that’s getting to you after the 3rd round.
