I know in the past we’ve talked about san francisco and it being kinda limp wristed, and i’ve stated that i grew up in a tough neighborhood.

Any large populated area, especially cramped, will have it’s bad parts of town. And I only see it getting worse and spreading outside of those areas. Good time for some real street defense instruction.
Have you guys considered teaching strictly street defense/awareness, home safety type classes instead of the traditional Kung Fu class?

im doing a san shou program in a nearby township (erm its like a squatter camp - african village), which seems to be pretty successfull in terms of interest. Most kids know how to fight, dont need training for that, our aim is to teach them new skills which they may be able to use in the future.
Actually, African kids are pretty tuff mofos.
