I’m thinking about checking these places out.
Anyone think they look good..?

I did a little muay thai… its not good at all after bashing your shins for a couple of months you can hardly walk:( and if you keep training and stop for a while your legs get real f*cked up. My old instructor did muay thai and stopped. he has to get all this **** done to his legs now.
But if your really in to it then go
Hm, sorry bout your instructor. I guess he just found a bad school.![]()
Or what..![]()
I’m going to start this place after the summer as well. Any opinions? (and yes, I know it’s in danish, bare over with it..)

The instructor has got instructorship from Paul Vunak himself.
Muay Thai is awsome.. go for it

Chen Zen,
The JKD school looks pretty solid. Paul Vunak’s RAT system is a solid way of learning some fighting skills (fast). Not to mention the fact that Matt Thornton holds seminars there! The SBG (straight blast gym) is sweet. I train with a PFS (Vunak’s system) instructor who also happens to be affiliated with the SBG (Thornton’s gym) and the training is top notch.
If you’ve got this around why train MT?
Looks like they offer Shootfighting there as well, which was something you’d inquired about on another thread right?
KG
I will be training at JKD around august (because they begin at that time again. they will begin teaching Shoot in august as well). The MT is something that I might do this summer as a preparation.
So how’s the Hsing-I doin?
It’s ok, I’ve learned the form of the 5 basic fists of the system, a couple of animal forms.
just needs to polish them, now (and that’ll take about 10-15 years..)
Did some sensitivity & fa-jing exercises last time, had the chance to palm-strike a skinny-ass guy in the chest, to send him flying.
lol, that was fun:p
Cool
I like the hsing-i 5 elements, they just look so practical. I’ve tried Taiji and Pakua but it’s not really for me, it would take waay to long to learn. If I had to pick one of the ‘internal’ it would mos definatly be H-I
