These voice actors are shinin’, like they’re born to be.
The success of KPop Demon Hunters seems to only be goin’ up, up, up. It’s their moment. Since the June release of Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters—the animated adventure film about K-pop girl group HUNTR/X who secretly fight demons by night in order to protect the world—has become a chart-topping sensation.
Not only does the film—which sees the insanely popular HUNTR/X face off with evil boy band Saja Boys—continue to claim a spot in Netflix’s top 10 list, it’s also ranked in the streamer’s most popular movies of all time as fans continue to drink up every drop.
And if those voices sound familiar, well, we’ll save you the trip to IMDB. Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Arden Cho, Lost alum Daniel Dae Kim and The Masked Singer host Ken Jeongare just a few of the actors who make up the golden cast.
“This movie has been one of my absolute favorites, because Rumi is legit the coolest character,” Cho gushed of giving life to HUNTR/X’s lead vocalist in a June interview. “If I was a teenage girl, I feel like I would want to be Rumi. I’m still kind of geeking out that I get to be her voice.”
Of course, fans also can’t get their fill of the flick’s impossibly catchy tunes with the viral soundtrack also skyrocketing in popularity. Finding its way to the Billboard Hot 100 list, three tracks—“Golden,” “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop”—now dominate the top 10 on the songs chart. Credit goes to vocalists EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, who provide the singing voices for the pop girl group HUNTR/X, with Andrew Choi, Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee making up several of the vocals for rival boy band Saja Boys.

Arden Cho as Rumi
Actress Arden Cho stars as Rumi, the lead singer of KPop girl band HUNTR/X and a fierce fighter who must slay both literal demons and some of her own.
Born in Texas, to Korean parents, Cho has been working consistently as an actress, singer and model since 2008. Her other acting credits include Teen Wolf, Partner Track, Chicago Med and Netflix’s live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
She’s also a competitive poker player (she competed in the 2018 World Series of Poker) and has a black belt in taekwondo.
I only cut&pasted the beginning of this article, just down to that last sentence, which caught my attention.

Everland will unveil a new themed zone inspired by the Netflix animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” on Sept. 26, Samsung C&T said Monday.
The attraction, created with Netflix, will bring characters and settings from the film to life. Visitors will encounter HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys and Korean street food dubbed K-Bunsik. The park plans interactive missions, photo zones, character costumes, exclusive merchandise and themed food.
The animated film tells the story of a K-pop girl group battling demons against the backdrop of major Korean landmarks. It has become Netflix’s most-watched animated film to date, with its original soundtrack topping the Billboard and British singles charts.
Songs such as “Golden,” “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol” will be incorporated into the Everland attraction.
Everland said the project aims to provide an immersive cultural experience that highlights Korean themes while appealing to both domestic and international visitors.
“This collaboration with Netflix will be a special project that allows guests to experience the world of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ with all five senses,” a Samsung C&T spokesperson said. “We expect Everland to serve as a cultural hub, introducing Korean culture to both local and international visitors.”
This marks the second collaboration between Everland and Netflix, following last year’s themed zones based on “All of Us Are Dead” (2022) and “Stranger Things” (2016-).
Everland is also continuing to develop attractions using its own characters, such as the Bao panda family and Leshy & Friends, while expanding partnerships with external intellectual properties, including Sanrio characters and the manga series “One Piece” (1997-).
Separately, Everland’s autumn festival will begin on Friday, featuring a “Wizard of Oz” theme with installations such as Emerald City and Blood City across the park.
