PS we know a lady who had brain cancer, she was operated on and it was in remission. Then she became pregnant and had a son, now the cancer has blown up and she’s got two months to live, barring a medical miracle. Moral of the story: be glad you’re not a woman. Also, because you would be very offended at yourself and you would smack yourself in the face all of the time.
Congratulations. I think your refesual to let your disease get you down in the dumps has paid off for you, I believe there have even been studies that have proven that a persons attitude has a big effect on how well a person with a disease can live with it, even increase such a person’s chance of surviving it. A doctor once told my grandfather that he would never be able to walk again. My grandfather’s attitude was, “That’s what he thinks!” He was able to walk just fine for the rest of his life. I think it would be good for you to speak to others who have your disease to inform them that no matter what, there is always hope. Peace, and Happy New Year.
GDA, big ups, man! You faced down what will probably be your toughest opponent and you are still standing and talking mad smack! You definitely got my vote for being the baddest mofo on this forum. A “fighter” in the truest sense of the word. Happy New Year!
