Hmmm. I’m pretty sure “X” is like “sh,” right? But there’s a difference between “x” and “sh,” I think but I don’t know what it is. And “zh” is like a “J” in French, right?
That’s what I think, but I might be wrong.
By the way, it’s cool that you brought this up. I’ve been curious of how to pronounce some Chinese words romanized in English for a while now.
