Has anyone watched the new Tarentino/Jet Li flick Hero?
My friend order the Chinese version thru the net. Great flick!
The background was fantastic.
Mostly Sword type stuff but a cool flick!
He only paid like $8- thru amazon and its not even out in the movies yet!

Do you mean the Zhang Yimou/Jet Li movie “Hero?” The one with Zhang Ziyi? If so, I own it as well. The action was great, especially the fight between Jet Li and Donnie Yen. But I liked the philosophical undertones much more.

Great movie. The fight between Donnie Yen and Jet Li had AWESOME cinematography. I also liked (it’s been a while), the fight in the Palace with the billowing curtains everywhere… it seemed so surreal, like it really WAS a lengendary myth that you were seeing.
GREAT MOVIE. I bought it off Ebay a while ago, and it took a bit (and my Chinese Dictionary) to figure out how to turn on the English subtitles.
