Yes and no. He learned a little from my sifu over 10 yrs ago when he was a teenager. Was asked to leave the school for some disrespectful things he was doing and abandoned everything he was taught in favor of what he learned by reading a bruce lee book. Not that he really knew that much from the short time he was with my sifu. i’ve said it before and i will say it again. What he teaches in no way shape or form represents or resembles what i was taught at NFMA or what i know about CLF in general

All I saw was some sort of interpretative dance…, but forms you are trained on for years get ingrained in your muscle memory. It’s embarrassing and a red flag when the teacher forgets his own stuff.

i’ve actually tried to stay quite about his guy because i don’t know how rational i can be when talking about a guy who disrespected my sifu yet uses my sifu and his sons name to promote himself. While claiming that “westerners”(he was born in Illinois) are destroying the martial arts because we have no respect. If i didnt know he was using the term “westerner” as a racist code for white people i’d think he was talking about himself
