Ok if Wing chun comes partially from Emei what kung fu systems from Emei look like or resemble Wing chun that you know of ?
Um, could you make that a multiple choice question?
If B came from A (A -> B), B should look like A, but A doesn’t have to look like B. The reason is simple. B might just take “part” of A and used it to create something else.
This is how Chinese wrestling looked like in the ancient time. Do I want to have DNA like that? Of course not. The old is not always better.
Time to go beyond look

There isn’t any Emei style that resembles wing chun .
…B should look like A, but A doesn’t have to look like B.
Um… That doesn’t make any sense as written. When comparing two things, if B looks like A, even to a small degree, then the reverse is true to the same degree.
Now, if your point is that over time obvious, external resemblance may be lost, I get that. So, If Emei Snake is but one among several ancestors of WC, then there may be little or no resemblance remaining today, although we should be able to see certain distinctive traits that are held in common, just as with human DNA sequencing.
Unfortunately, there are so many shared traits between Southern Chinese short-bridge systems, that this alone is insufficient evidence without a verifiable historic link. And I doubt that that will ever be found and proven beyond doubt.
Here’s some of that essence snake body flowing stuff that is the core essence of the SLT core. But just the essence, not the signature, just the internal.(core). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM6STOogubk
Is essence supposed to mean like a smell or something? Just curious as it’s not really in my martial arts vocabulary.
It’s like an onion. Onions have layers. Onions have a scent. Chives also have a scent like onions. Chives, as hard as it is to comprehend, do not have layers.

So, layers, with a smell.
I think I’m starting to catch on.
Trolls also have layers. https://www.google.com/search?q=ogres+have+layers%2C+shrek%2C+youtube&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=sb

I’m sure they do. I’m still trying to figure out WTF an “essence of Emei is”. Or did Ip Man have “an essence”? I mean I accidentally ****ed on a training partner today while I was holding an omoplata lock.
That definitely had an essence. I was forced to apologize.
No ****ing while doing BJJ or any other wrestling/grappling or Chin Na in competition. No Beans(including chili) grapes, whole big bag of potato chips, or any other gas enhancers before match will ignite a ruling for disqualification.
