It is amazing how otherwise intelligent people, do not see beyond their noses, when their emotional/psychological comfort zones are at risk…

A little lost in the woods, I see…
This just proves my theory that before brainwashing the masses, the system first indoctrinates (read: brainwashes) its own servants, as it cannot afford decent!!!

The information contained in the above articles should provide food for thought, for those who are capable of thinking, that is!
so does anyone think that the dems will take a stand anytime soon??? they should take a page from the republicans, rather than always trying to meet in the middle they need to bring the fight to the other side of the aisle… stop being such pu$$ies…
well, looks like a few congressman have started to speak up about the lack of backbone in the whitehouse… i love it… this president is a joke, not a democrat…

They are all jokes. When will you people understand that there is no difference “Democrats” and “Republicans”. They are there to create an illusion of choice for the masses. The same is true for most, if not all, other countries on this earth.
Christ, they are not even trying to hide it anymore. Obama, kept some George W.Bush staff in his government!
A lot of “Democrats” and “Republicans” are members of the same Masonic lodges. They are also members of political organizations such as Council of Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission, as well as others. These organizations have goals, and no matter from what party you are in, if you are a member, then you are agreeing and carrying out these goals.
Is this concept so difficult to understand?
anyone???

okay… so who wants to take bets that obama will cave on the cuts thing??? he put his foot down yesterday and said 33 billion was his limit… im betting he’ll cave and give more… anyone disagree???
i think he’ll go atleast 7billion more…
He should cave. We are dead broke. And the worst part of it is this - Obama, Reid, and Pelosi ADMIT this. Yet they are playing politics with the budget. They were supposed to have done this already. Before the November elections, when they controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, a budget was due. They did not present a budget because they didn’t want the voters to see how bad it was before the elections. Had they presented and passed a budget when they were supposed to, this wouldn’t be going on now. And they still haven’t presented a budget yet! They are just blasting the GOP proposal. Where’s their proposal?
If we do not cut some programs now, in 10 years we will be forced to eliminate programs.

Nobody is the good guy here. Republicans just made up some ridiculous bill that would ensure we are paid, BUT decided to add on crap that had absolutely nothing to do with us, ensuring the bill would be vetoed and the democrats would look anti-military. That is low and sick, considering how nerve wracked a lot of soldiers and families are.
Despicable act.

Ok then. So where is the Democrats proposal? Who is the ‘Party of No’ now?
And fyi, I do think it’s ridiculous you guys aren’t getting paid if this shutdown happens. Especially since the Medicaid checks are still going out if the Gov’t shuts down.

The democrats did create a proposal. Republicans rejected it.

My reports will all be blank until I am paid. Just a single line will be there. “Where’s my money?”

You do realize Boehner made a deal with the Democrats, but it was rejeced by the Republicans when he took it back for review because they want SOCIAL policy changes added into the bill…?
The democrats did create a proposal. Republicans rejected it.
I believe you are incorrect. I saw Charlie Rangel on the news this morning (it was a live interview), and when asked about where the Democrats proposal was he just laughed.
Maybe you should have just went on welfare instead of choosing to be a great man and defend our freedoms. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about your money.
That alone should show you where our priorities are and why we do need to fix this mess.
You do realize Boehner made a deal with the Democrats, but it was rejeced by the Republicans when he took it back for review because they want SOCIAL policy changes added into the bill…?
Can you be more specific? I believe you are correct, but I want to be sure. Also, when you mention “social policy changes”, are you referring to defunding Planned Parenthood and NPR, or are you talking about them trying to enact new laws and just attaching those parts to the funding bill(s)?
And again, the Democrats have not only not submitted a proposal, but had they passed a budget in September when it’s supposed to be done, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion now. The Gov’t would have been funded until Sept 2011.
