Dragon vs Snake vs Crane from question

While looking for an example of a Snake vs Crane form, I stumbled on a CLF form entitled Dragon vs Snake vs Crane; a 3 man form!

I’ve never heard of such a thing. There are plenty of 2 man forms out there in various martial arts, but a 3 man form? Is this one unique to CLF? Are there other 3 man forms?

Thanks in advance.

perhaps not unique to CLF but definitely prevalent in CLF.

Thanks.

Are there more 3 man forms?

modern one yes. none the i know of traditionally

I believe the Chan Family has several both hand and weapon. I haven’t seen any and we don’t have any in our lineage but I would think like Frank stated these might be more modern creations but who knows.

I think three or more man forms are good since CLF is widely known for its ability to fight multiple people at one time. in this case, forms practice first is more important as the form will provide important keys on what to do and what not to do in this type of altercation

In our lineage, we have a 3-man set. I have not practiced it in years, though. It is interesting, in that it begins with the main guy being shoved from behind into another guy in front. Actually, the way it’s set up, it could be a 4-man set. It’s not named after any animals.

Multi-person sets

Yes their are multi- person fighting sets in tadional kf. It all depends on the available students.

In our style it is found among senior students, both in weapons , hand and animal styles.

My best to all
