yahoo sucks… anyone know a good place to host video clips??
Yeah, it works. Nice bag work.
I don’t understand why so many people throw that arm back on the roundhouse. Try leading with it instead. Just push the hand forward in the arc the kick will travel. You actually get more power because your whole body is now rotating on the ball of your foot, and it is better defensively if he gets off a punch while your kicking.
… i can’t even view it from here…
… i throw the arm back to… i tried both variations…it SEEMS more natural in the sense that ‘it just happens’ rather than its a technique… i don’t know… sometimes i throw it with my hands ‘covered up’… it depends on how close i am and is there a threat comming soon… like the big right…
It DOES feel that way if you’re the kicker. What you need to do is hold the pads and have your boy try to kick like that. You should feel the difference after just a few kicks.

A lot of people said they do Muay Thai in the Just Curious thread. Let’s discuss proper arm position off the roundhouse.
They all work, so it’s an opinion thread. But the Thai boxers already understand that ![]()
