Probably depends on who’s fighting. While different styles may be great, a fighter is an individual.
It also doesn’t always depend on the skill levels. A lot of the time it is just pure luck that lets you one-up your opponent.
Perhaps they slip on a loose rock…?

styles don’t beat styles. Styles are ideas. They are moot without someone to properly apply.
all styles have people who attempt to learn to apply, but the people who can apply are outweighed by the many who cannot. And those few who can, do not have it all.

You know I take exception to the way you spelt CLF when it is clearly Choi Lee Fut. In fact I heard there is a document from when Chan Heung visited San Francisco that he stated specifically that it was Romanized ‘Choi’ for all lineages! That is of course unless you come from one of those hybrid *******ized CLF Eagle Claw schools in which case the more differently you Romanize it the better!
