Ratti Entertainment is re-releasing the award-winning, HBO-licensed Black Salt proof-of-concept film as the franchise expands across multiple platforms. The comic series is being completed and compiled into a hardcover graphic novel, and the video game is moving beyond the demo phase. Black Salt is a comic book series that was turned into an award-winning 30-minute proof of concept film. The film won the Cinemax Urban Action Showcase and received a licensing deal with HBO for 26 months. The stellar and talented cast was comprised of Kinyumba Mutakabbir (True to the Game 2, Iron Man 3, Interface), Michelle Charlene Lee (Black Widow, Bullet Train, Top Gun: Maverick), James Lew (won an Emmy for Luke Cage), Ron Yuan (Mulan, Free Guy, The Accountant) Panuvat Anthony Nanakornpanom (Avengers: Endgame, Wonder Woman 1984, Dunes) and directed by Ben Ramsey who also directed Love and a Bullet, Blood and Bone, Interface, and written The Big Hit, Dragonball: Evolution and Luke Cage for Marvel Comics. Owen Ratliff is the creator of the Black Salt franchise and has co-produced a psychological thriller entitled Unstable Minds. He also produced a boxing proof of concept film entitled Get Up Joe and Umoya.
