I have a question for Joseph, or what ever chan family here that wants to chime in.

If Choy Lee Fut was created in its whole and refined by chan heung for 20 years, and then created in 1836, then why in 1868 was there a MAJOR re-development of CHoy Lee FUt? wasn’t choy lee fut already set?

you don’t mean to tell me that chan heung and his descendants continued to refine, and develop more gung fu based off of what CHan Heung started do you?

When was Chan Heung’s 8 internal bagua sets created?

if you say that they were created by Choy Fook and passed down to CHan Heung then the 8 internal bagua sets (if they are as CHoy Fook passed down) and not changed by chan heung, then the 8 bagua sets are not choy lee fut. they are something from what choy fook taught whether it was choy ga or just plain shaolin gung fu.

Nowhere in the Fut San Hung Sing Kwoon will you find Chan Family Choy Lee Fut.

Can you explain why Jeong Yim branch doesn’t teach Chan Family CLF? Why don’t they (we) practice the 5 Wheel Horse (and Hand) set?

Why is Fut San’s Ping Kuen different to that of Chan Heung’s?

Tam Sam’s Kwoon is well known to be CLF, right? Then why doesn’t the Buk Sing Kwoon teach any Chan Family stuff? Not even the beginner sets?

If the Fut San Hung SIng Kwoon taught the In and Out Bagua, why doesn’t the Chan Family teach it? IF Chan Heung taught it, then he would have the original method since Chan Ngau Sing broke it up into three main sets, right?

So, if CHan Heung’s branch doesn’t teach material from Jeong Yim or Tam Sam’s Kwoon, then what is it that they (Jeong Yim and Tam Sam) teaching then? According to Joseph, if it wasn’t created by Chan Heung then it isn’t Choy Lee Fut.

Why would Tam Sam ever (and I mean EVER) teach Chan Family since he is an incomplete dis-owned member of Jeong Yim lineage.

The only thing he should resemble is Jeong Yim’s lineage and even he made changes. (Oh no … forms change over time … )

Tam Sam is further removed from the source and doesn’t really support anything but it’s only lineage and CLF kung fu.
