teacher info
hi respectred/matt:
my school brother, ETB, didn’t post the info in your forum (ETB, please don’t mind the redundancy…) because he posted in another forum. however, for some reason, the info didn’t come up.
anyway, if you have the time, you should look around for schools. even though people in these forums will give you their opinions of who is good and who isn’t, they are still personal opinions and you should trust your own judgement. check out the schools first, see if you like what is being taught and see if you are comfortable with the instructor.
that being said, i’ll post info that my schoolbrother wanted to post:
David Bond Chan
New York Chinese Martial Arts Institute
161 Bowery Street (bet. Broome and Delancy), 7th Floor
New York, NY 10002
212-226-1792
xing yi classes will be taught on
Tuesday and Friday nights from 7-8:30 p.m.
for more info on classes, etc:

also, when i was looking for a ba gua teacher, i found this site useful…it’s funny though because my schoolbrother, ETB, was the one who has been advertising online as our teacher does not advertise at all. he’s one of those underground types. anyway, good luck on your search:

p.s. if you have any questions that you’d like to ask through this medium, you can either post here or e-mail my school brother who has been there several months longer: baguaboxer@aol.com
i’ve only been there for three months so i only have these three months as burden of proof. i like what i’m learning though and i’ve noticed an improvement in my overall well-being.
