I must say I am fascinated by Wu Dang. In the movies the greatest Daoist Masters are from there and Martial Artists there learn the deepest and most elusive internal arts. In pictures it is breathtaking and on my trip to China in 1999 I had to return home while the rest of our group went on to Wu Dang.

Does anyone know a resource (book, website, other) where I can get some more in depth history of the philosophy and martial arts history (old and recent)of Wu Dang?

Wudang trip

Wudangshan was inscribed on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO.) Search UNESCO World Heritage List and you’ll find their website, not much kungfu, but a lot of general info on Wudangshan
