My SiFu is german, and on his trousers (and of the other advanced students) you see “Leung Ting” (could be possible that I misspelled Ting, but I think it’s that way that it was written). Now I was wondering, any of you that come from that lineage too ? Is it wel-known in the WT world ?
I’m just curious, about my “roots” So if you have the answer, I’d appreciate you answering my Q
WT (WingTsun) is Leung Ting’s spelling of Wing Chun, he changed the name slightly to reflect the fact he’s changed the style slightly.
The fact your Sifu was german isn’t surprising, the WT organisation (EWTO) is huge in germany, and is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK as the NWTO. It’s reckoned to be one of the biggest wing chun clubs now.
