crazy-ness[/QUOTE]
Obviously, it’s spider monkey Kung Fu as mentioned here:
it’s 'cause of the free crack…
whats wrong with the kung fu people in the video? if more people trained that that you would have less sh1t in north america
from the video they say its a bodyguard school, its a new made up style and it caused controversy in martial arts community in that province. video says they accept all challengers
pople learn forms from crappy teacher and say kung fu is useless, then they see people like those in video training for real and they make fun of them. why??
people ned to go insane foaming at the mouth when they practice their kung fu thats the way its supposed to be done. im not tryingt to be funny here i mean it.
If more people train like this then may be we can get TCMA reputation back. For those who love to train CMA in slow speed, they may never have the feeling of “speed” for the rest of their life.
Too many people like to talk about maximum power. Not many people like to talk about maximum speed. People love to think that maximum power generation is the highest level of CMA training and ignore that maximum speed generation may be even more important. A 5 oz force on the eye ball may end a fight. A 10,000 lbs force move in slow speed may never be able to hurt anyone.
this is a fairly old story
if u wanna know what real kung fu fighting like that makes it different from kickboxing that video is it. you go insane and berserk thats the way its supposed to be but it isnt. when you fight you get the im gonna raepe your mother in front of you mentality. every time you punch you dont try to knock out or hurt you try to kil. every time you do forms you imagine your kiling people. every time you punch a bag you imagine you break the bag. real kung fu should make you scare and send chill down your spine.
a lot of guys when they spar and fight i see their eyes are empty they have a dazed retarded look.
Back in BC we used to train something called the “Rage” Drill. Lots of fun, but very very intense. Many students who would experience it for the first time and who’d never tapped that aspect of themselves before would break down crying afterwards.
It’s good to go there just so you know what it’s about. It also gives you a fuller view of the emotional spectrum, and allows you to choose where on that spectrum you want to be in a fight. Not every confrontation requires you to stomp your opponent’s head into the ground… but it’s important to have it within you to do it when necessary.
With that said, I wonder if the crazy Spider Monkey dudes have any Yin to their Yang.
all the moves are good
dun like
screaming
biting on the shoulder
–
like
get close and continuous attack on soft spots that are open.
dodge left and right
moving up and down.
balance with holding on to the opponent.

the school is training bodyguard or escort in hang zhou.
they called themself “unlimited fighting style” or wu xian zhi ge dou.
definitely need hand guns and knife training in the 21st century training.
also need one against many/crowd tactics and strategy.
one on one fighting is good
but the body guard service would need to call in back up with the local police, since you may be dealing with multiple bad guys with weapons most of the time.
–
etc etc
Great training methods?
The essence of real kung fu?
More people should train like that?
ROTFL - its s school for training kung fu movie extras…
It was really an ironic or sarcasm issue.
in San Da, you fight with rules.
in no limits
you hit groin, bite ears, stab eyes etc etc.
of course these are not allowed or off limits in any sport “fight”.
–
bring some “sanity” to the “insanity” of sports “fights”.

Uhmmm sorry, no it is not!!! This is spaztoc crazy and random. It how to get yourself killed in a real fight.
you go insane and berserk thats the way its supposed to be but it isnt.

No, it is not supposed to be this way. I never saww a high level MMA guy or Cung Le fight this way. Cung Le is areguable the top Kung Fu exponent in the world right now. He’s calm, cool, colective, and rarely if ever loses.

This is a total pack of BS. Is your only experiance form old 1970’s Kung Fu movies?
Guys who spaz out like this are easy to defeat. They are TOTALLY open, have no defense and are completely vulnerable to both takedowns, and striking from thier opponent. Even a fat, out of shape middle aged manlike me could take them with no effort.
This vid is hardly an example of good Kung fu. it’s more like some sort of foolish parody.
I’m serious guys,
I first saw that video and it was to promote a stunt man school in HK for training MA extras. Somebody has tacked on a couple of other bits and is playing the youTubers.
YouTubers, as in potato heads…
I totally agree with RD’S Alias - 1A…
I know several people in close protection work for my countries government (not private sector) and this type of training is stupid.
The only smillarity i see is ‘trying’ to load aggression in there, thats about it !
It seems to me like wasted movement/energy, totally opening yourself up with over the top low percentage techs.
most close protection systems would have simple yet effective straight foward methology, this is the opposite…
Using a good head guard (placing palms on crown of head, forearms cover face) using palms elbows and neck strikes from this position following good knee stomps are bread and butter of any Bodyguard system… and thats the basics without grappling.
This stuff is a joke from that POV, but im only commenting on what i see in the vid…
DREW
I may be the only person who like this kind of training.
Old Chinese saying said, " Hui Da Kuai, Huai Da Man , Man Da Bu Hui (skill beats speed, speed beats slowness, slowness beat no skill)."
If you have speed then you are already above average and you should be able to handle those who are slow and also those who have no skill. If you don’t have speed when you are young then you won’t be able to develop speed when you are old (the older you are, the slower you move). If you don’t have power when you are young then you may still be able to develop power when you get old. It’s perfect correct to develop speed before power in the “early training stage”.

That was awesome, and luckly there is no charge for sheer awesomeness !

I must say that I might just die laughing if somebody tried those REDICULOUS numbchunk (nunchaku) moves in a real fight.
When I get hit in a fight and it hurts I fight better. But it’s not because I fly off the handle and release my rage in a random flurry of undirected nonsense. Instead I take the pain and the bruised pride and feed it into a flame of concentration and focus. My attacks gain the adrenaline boost that these guys clearly are seeking but guided by a conscious, aware, mind. Berzerking may work… when you have a clear advantage to begin with… but in reality berzerking is NOT the essence of true martial arts regardless of the source.
Self-discipline and self-control are always necessary.
b/c it used up your breathing also took away some of the muscle groups that may be used to fight or generate power.
but when you fight, you do not move easily. you move to strike. even when you move to dodge, but you also strike at the same time.

screaming is totally not necessary.
