love how they sped the vid up and blurred the hands or they have very poor camera skillz.
What kind of kung fu is this?
really bad kung fu
suppose to be lian wan #9 in northern shaolin…But it’s not meant to be done like that at all.
All right, what’s your criteria to determine, this is not TCMA, or nay not belong to a known lineage or particular style. I’ve checked other youtube videos and just wonder how some people can ckaim kung fu or even invented forms.
how some people can ckaim kung fu or even invented forms.
There is nothing wrong to invent forms. All forms were invented. The question is whether your new invented form has value or not. If you just combine 10 forms into 1, you are not invent anything new. If you can create a Judo form, you may add some value into the Judo system (not for training, but for recording purpose).
This appears to be the Lin Wan Kuen that is found in the book “Sil Lum Kung Fu” By Leo Fong.
Interesting.
lin wan is a coverall sort of name isn’t it? Similar to lien bo/lin bo? Continuous and returning.
lian huan
usually, it is a set of a few moves with focused tactics and strategy of a style.
they are interchangable or linked among the moves.
such as
ba ji lian huan
xing yi wu xing lian huan (5 elements)
ba gua you shen lian huan (swimming body)
on and on
move 1 may change into 2, 2 change into 3, ----change back to one
1 may change into 3, —
etc etc
Wow, I give you credit David you have a good eye to made it out to be lihn waahn kyuhn/ (ah, a rare book indeed), because honestly it can be anything under the map. ![]()
ok, this will be fun. Watch his TaiJi form. Do you recognize it?
(trick question) I know TGY will get this immediately.

lian huan interlink
lian bu linked step
lian shou linked hand methods
lian linked
a + b + c–
every style has it.
I put 1 right forward punch with lunge 2 left upper cut, 3 right elbow, 4 left low kick
