You should probably talk to your doctor so he can direct you to a specialist who can help you develop a diet specifically for you. No one on this forum can give you a sure-fire answer.
An Art is any form of expression or task that has been honed to near perfection.
The healthiest diet i know of is the Zone diet, which is 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fats.
There’s a book out with recipes and a lot more detailed information on the philosophy behind the diet. You can also check some of the threads here on the Health & Fitness board as well as fitness/bodybuilding websites like www.t-mag.com
This is a diet that’s comfortable for your body and pretty healthy for long periods of time. The best part is that in studies it has the best record of most weight lost and maintained.

Can eat with either hand. (But becomes moody when not fed regularly.)
