VERSUS had some of the best karate martial arts action I’ve seen in a spell.
It was sci-fi horror and gore so it had more than it’s fair share of unrealistic swordplay, the hand to hand stuff was pretty decent.
I dunno though , why do the Japanese films always have to be so creepy.

Has anyone else here seen it?
I watched Ichi the Killer right before it, needless to say I’m all creeped out. I think that’s enough for one weekend considering that tommorrow is fri. the 13th:p

eh i thought ichi sucked. :frowning:

yeah versus is good. see azumi, by the same director.

the biggest disappointment about Ichi was Ichi himself… his character , and method of killing just didn’t gel with the rest of the movie, Otherwise it was pretty…i guess it’s still pretty creepy with all that gore. I can understand why you said it sucked though.

Is it on Netflix?
